Sehr eleganter Esstisch in einer Ausführung aus schönem Teakholz , entworfen von Grete Jalk für Glostrup, Dänemark.
Der Tisch ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und besteht aus vielen Vollholzelementen. Er besticht durch seine organisiche Linienführung und feine Detaillierungen, wie die leichte bootsförmige Tischplattenform und die schön geformten Beine. Der Tisch verfügt über zwei Ausziehplatten, die unter dem Tisch gelagert sind und durch die er auf 220cm erweitert werden kann.
Sehr guter Zustand mit leichten Gebrauchsspuren an den Beinen und wenigen sehr leichten Kratzern am Tischrand und auf der Tischplatte. Die Erweiterungsplatten unterscheiden sich im Farbton etwas von der Hauptplatte.

Elegant dining table designed by Grete Jalk for Glostrup in Denmark. This table is made out of teak wood and comes with tapered organically shaped legs that connect beautifully to the table top. Two pull out leaves can be used to extend the table to the length of 220cm.
The table comes in wonderful original condition with only minor traces of use, some light scratches on the table top and minor fading, some very tiny marks on the legs, nothing that detracts. Overall appearance presents beautifully.

Gallery owner Kevin Siegert's collection features a wide selection of Danish and nordic hand-selected mid century furniture designs from the 1950s and 1960s but also 20th century furniture design classics from the Bauhaus era and the 70s and 80s from all over Europe. The pieces are meticulously inspected and, if necessary, expertly and lovingly restored.
