Formschöner Couchtisch aus massivem Teakholz, entworfen von Holger Georg Jensen und gefertigt von Kubus in Dänemark um 1960. Der Entwurf verkörpert die Qualitäten des dänischen Mid-Century Designs in Reinform: klare Proportionen, durchdachte Funktionalität und eine handwerkliche Ausführung auf höchstem Niveau.
Besonders charakteristisch sind die aufgekanteten Tischkanten mit ihren sanft gerundeten Ecken – ein feines, aufwendig gearbeitetes Detail, das die Tischplatte elegant einfasst und die hohe Tischlerkunst des Entwurfs eindrucksvoll zeigt. Unter der Platte befindet sich eine Zeitungsablage aus einzelnen Streben, die zusätzlichen Stauraum für Magazine und Bücher bietet und dem Tisch zugleich eine leichte, luftige Anmutung verleiht. Das warme Teakholz mit seiner lebendigen Maserung unterstreicht die zeitlose Formensprache. Dank seiner kompakten Maße eignet sich der Tisch ideal als Sofatisch, Couchtisch oder Beistelltisch.
Der Tisch wurde komplett überarbeitet, das Teakholz sorgfältig aufgearbeitet und alle Verbindungen überprüft. Er ist stabil und sofort einsatzbereit. Der Tisch hat einen Herstellersticker auf der Unterseite.
Zustand: Toller Vintage-Zustand – vollständig restauriert, mit nur wenigen, minimalen altersbedingten Gebrauchsspuren. Ein schönes Beispiel dänischer Handwerkskunst für stilvolle Wohnbereiche.

The warm teak with its lively grain highlights the timeless design. Thanks to its compact size, the table works perfectly as a coffee table, sofa table or side table. The table has been completely refurbished, the teak carefully refinished and all joints checked. It is sturdy and ready for immediate use. The table is marked with a sticker underneath the table top.
