Sofatisch mit Rollen // Coffee Table with wheels, Wilhelm Renz, 1950s

Sehr filigraner Sofatisch aus einem Rahmengestell aus massivem Holz mit dramatischer Maserung und einer aufliegenden Platte aus Rauchglas, produziert in Deutschland von Wilhelm Renz. Der Tisch ist auf vier Rollen gelagert und kann dadurch einfach bewegt werden. Ein sehr miminimalistischer Sofatisch, der durch das wunderschöne Holz eine zusätzliche Detailtiefe und Wohnlichkeit mitbringt.
Der Sofatisch weist ein paar Kratzer auf dem Glas und am Holz auf, ein paar kleinere Bestoßungen an den Kanten, aber keine größeres Spuren, die den hochwertigen Charakter des Möbels negativ beeinflussen würden. An den Rollen ist die Chrombeschichtung teilweise abegblättert.

This rare and very elegant sofa table is made out of a beautiful wooden frame with a very dramatic and intense grain and comes with a table top that is made out of greyish glas. The table was manufactured in Germany by Wilhelm Wirz, sits on four wheels and can easily be moved around. The dramatic wood grain adds a certain depth and detail to the rather minimalist design.
The table shows only some minor traces of wear and tear. Some scrathces on the table top and bumps on the edges, nothing that distracts. The wheels chrome coating is partially gone. Overall appearance presents beautifully.
