Ausziehbarer Esstisch aus Teak // Extendable Teak Dining Table by Hundevad & Co.
Maße: ca. 80 × 80 × 70 cm (Breite × Tiefe × Höhe) Mit zwei Auszugsplatten à 32 cm – ausgezogen ca. 112 bzw. 144 cm

Dimensions: approx. 80 × 80 × 70 cm (31.5" × 31.5" × 27.6") Width × Depth × Height With two pull-out leaves of 32 cm (12.6") each – extended approx. 112 or 144 cm (44.1" or 56.7")
Compact extendable dining table in teak, made in the 1960s by Hundevad & Co. in Denmark. At just 80 × 80 cm it fits small rooms and dining nooks, while the two leaves concealed beneath the top turn it into a 144 cm table for six in a few simple moves.
Hundevad & Co. was founded by cabinetmaker Poul Hundevad and specialised in high-quality teak furniture; alongside its own designs, the workshop produced pieces by designers such as Kaj Winding, Carlo Jensen and Harald Plum. The design of this table is attributed to Poul Hundevad himself.
What sets the table apart is its finely tensioned form: on each side the top is slightly wider at the centre than at the corners, giving it a subtle boat shape – a refined detail that lends the small table tension and elegance. The apron follows this line with a gentle curve along its lower edge. Solid teak edge banding frames the top, and the round solid teak legs taper towards the floor. The two leaves are stored invisibly beneath the top and slide out easily using slim pull handles.
The teak shows a lively, striped grain and a warm, golden-brown tone.
Condition: Very good vintage condition – sturdy and fully functional, the leaves slide smoothly. A compact Danish dining table with a big presence for discerning interiors.
