Ausziehbarer Esstisch Modell 12 aus Teak // Extendable Teak Dining Table Model 12 by Niels O. Møller for J.L.
Møllers Møbelfabrik in Højbjerg, Dänemark.

Dimensions: approx. 130 × 90 × 74 cm (51.2" × 35.4" × 29.1") Width × Depth × Height Extended: approx. 236 cm (92.9") with 2 leaves of 53 cm (20.9") each
Elegant extendable dining table Model 12 in teak, designed by Niels Otto Møller and produced in the 1960s by J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Højbjerg, Denmark. Møller is one of the great names of Danish furniture design; his work stands for sculptural forms, fine woods and the uncompromising cabinetmaking quality for which J.L. Møllers is still renowned today.
The shaped legs are particularly beautiful: starting from a rectangular section, they taper downwards to an elegant point. Frame and legs are made of solid teak, while the tabletops rest additively on the base and are edged with solid wood banding. The two leaves of 53 cm each are also clearly legible from the side and blend harmoniously into the line of the table. Fully extended to approx. 236 cm, the table comfortably seats a large dinner party. The original burnt-in maker's stamp is found underneath the table.
The table has been fully restored. The teak shows a warm, lively tone, and the craftsmanship is of the highest quality, as one expects from J.L. Møllers.
Condition: Very good vintage condition – fully restored, sturdy and fully functional, with light age-appropriate signs of use. A rare Danish design classic for discerning interiors.
