Teak Sideboard // Teak Credenza by H.W. Klein for Bramin

Dimensions: approx. 225 × 45 × 79 cm (88.6" × 17.7" × 31.1") Width × Depth × Height
Generously proportioned teak sideboard, designed in the 1960s by Henry Walter Klein and made by Bramin Møbler in Denmark. With his designs for Bramin, the Norwegian-born designer left a lasting mark on Danish furniture of the period – combining clear proportions with a keen eye for structural detail. The corners are particularly appealing: accentuated vertical edges read like columns that continue into the slender tapered legs, making the construction seemingly legible. Finely detailed horizontal solid wood edge banding frames the cabinet at top and bottom and completes its refined appearance. The square recessed handles with their accentuated rims run across the entire front as a calm, graphic motif. Behind two large sliding doors are two spacious compartments, each with one shelf and carefully lined with beautiful teak. In the centre are four drawers, the top one lined with green felt – ideal for cutlery or small treasures.
Condition: Very beautiful vintage condition – a few more noticeable marks on the surface have been lovingly and expertly retouched by our restorer. They remain visible but are not distracting and do not diminish the refined presence of this piece. Warm teak tone with lively grain and a lovely natural patina. A generously proportioned piece of Danish design for discerning living and dining areas.
